Summer Adventures

It's been a busy Summer for W. He went to the San Diego Zoo...

where he sat on one of the little-known Chrome Polar Bears. It's great that they are so tame.

all systems go for lift off in his private helicopter

This giraffe had just been born. It was less than one hour old!

W's new ride to school

Next up was the Wild Animal Park:

Everyone knows how wild goats can be. Especially this one. Watch out W it might, umm, snore at you?

It was hot!

Entrance to the Tiger Safari with Grandma J

I spy with my little eye...

 … a billie goat

Now W has no excuse for saying he can't hear mom and dad!

Off to Lake Tahoe:

Helping daddy split peas.

biggest dandelion ever -- and the flower was big too! :-)

Old fashioned miniature golf

hiking

beaching

exploring

treeing (?)

"this pinecone is bigger than my head!"

He saw some buddies:

Then it was off to summer camp

where he had such challenges as a day at the beach

and playing baseball

and going on field trips. Whew!

W did his annual trip to Texas:

not all fun and games...

The only person who likes legos more that W is Mr. H

all tuckered out!

Soccer Camp
dressed out in his Coventry kit from Cousin M - his coach grew up near Coventry!

Hanging out at the swim club

eating s'mores

and playing ping pong. Wait a minute, shouldn't there be some swimming at the swim club???

Bike riding by the beach - so California!

"I hope the sea doesn't mind"

A quick trip to Pompeii

Who knew it only takes half an hour to drive there from SoCal?

and to finish it off, Labor Day with friends and family at the beach

W and Z

playing on the beach at sunset

driving the boat around the harbor

learning a new trick

the whole gang

Summer 2014 was filled with lots of fun times!
